How to make an Appointment

Obtain a Referral

Visit your GP and ask for a referral to the relevant specialist. A valid referral is required by Medicare for all specialist consultations and allows you to receive a Medicare rebate.

Email your referral to reception@shirespecialists.com.au

We will Contact You

Your referral will be triaged and our reception team will contact you with an appointment time. Urgent referrals are prioritised and we usually contact you within 2 business days.

Office Hours: Mondays to Thursdays: 9am to 5pm, Fridays: 9am to 3pm
Please note these are the general office hours. Each specialist has their own working hours and days.

Practice Address: Suite 106, 26-28 Gibbs St, Miranda, New South Wales, 2228. We are located on Level 1 (please take the lift or stairs).

Parking Information: Free parking is available on Gibbs St (2 hour limit). Most patients find it easiest to park in Miranda Westfield and walk to our practice.

Public Transport: Our practice is conveniently located less than 3 minutes walk from Miranda train station. Buses stop just outside our practice on Kiora Rd (973, 978, 989, 993).
